BURBANK, Los Angeles County — 2026 election update. Burbank voters have given different early answers to two related proposals on how City Council members could be elected.
Reported results
Measure CC: 13,909 Yes (52.93%) to 12,370 No (47.07%). Measure CD: 20,158 No (77.61%) to 5,816 Yes (22.39%).
What voters decided
CC would amend the city charter to make future changes to election methods possible. CD asks whether the city should replace citywide at-large elections with geographic council districts. Burbank says CD can take effect only if both CC and CD pass. The initial vote therefore does not indicate adoption of district elections. These two measures emerged from a voting-rights settlement, but results remain unofficial.
Reporting and verification
These numbers are from the November 2026 live election results listing available following the November 3 vote. The displayed table is subject to change, and its page publication date is not necessarily the update timestamp of every individual contest. This article does not claim that an official November 5 ballot batch has been independently confirmed. Los Angeles County is continuing the official canvass and will certify its results later.
