BURBANK, Los Angeles County — 2026 election update. Thirteen candidates are seeking three Burbank City Council seats, and the early count places Nikki Perez, Mike Gorder and Nolan Southerland in the first three positions.
Reported results
NBC Los Angeles reports Nikki Perez 15,612 candidate selections, Mike Gorder 9,697 and Nolan Southerland 8,265, followed by David Donahue 7,450, Tamala Takahashi 6,574, Samantha Wick 6,299 and other candidates.
What voters decided
Burbank’s City Clerk confirms voters could select up to three council candidates. The reported gap between third-place Southerland and fourth-place Donahue is 815 selections. That is more relevant to the last available seat than the gap between the first two candidates. Candidate selections are not counts of unique participating voters. The official canvass is ongoing.
